INDIGO JUNG’S SECOND RELEASE ON FRESH TAKES IS OUT OCTOBER

The Heaven EP hits dancefloors in October 2021 with Fresh Takes in scotland.

The 3 track EP oozes of jazz hits, orchestral shimmers and shoddy 90s samples.

One more time is a 2000’s UKG inspired tech banger, the M1 organ and SWV soul sample and believe it or not a Dappy from n-dubs sample re-imagined into a classy “push the feeling” type cut that is acceptable on any 2021 dance-floor. I wanted to make something accessible yet underground growing and morphing the vocal over build of the track.

Blue Monday is a fantastic feel good and emotional italo-disco house banger. Percolating inter-twisting bass and synth line takes me back to Zur wilden Renate in the italo-disco room - fun and dark at the same time… sampling Pat Metheny’s incredible ride cymbals and Evelyn Blu vocal shots. It’s a big gay rumpa anthem.

Heaven is a orchestral track with a great deep pay off. Using vocals from my work with vocalist cnamayanja on the Sam Nizzle blessings project, the rework is a clandestine stained glass window house track, that grows and moves like Manna.
